Structural Heritage

  • Marès is a luminous sandstone formed from fossilized marine sediment that acts as the "living skin" of the island, unique for its ability to breathe with the Mediterranean climate and radiate a honey-colored glow that has defined Mallorca’s architectural identity from its grand cathedrals to its humblest rural fincas.


  • Pedra en Sec is the ancient Mallorcan art of stacking local limestone without mortar, a UNESCO-recognized craft that creates the iconic terraced landscapes and rustic boundaries of the island while fostering a deep, symbiotic connection between human ingenuity and the rugged Mediterranean terrain.

  • Lime Wash is a traditional, breathable finish made from crushed limestone that protects the finca’s walls while reflecting the intense Mediterranean sun to create a soft, velvety texture that ages with a distinctively Mallorcan grace.

  • Ceramic Roof Tiles are the weathered, terracotta "crown" of the finca, traditionally crafted from local clay and layered in a distinctive curved pattern to channel the island's rare rains while providing a rustic, sun-baked aesthetic that blends the home into the earthy tones of the Mallorcan landscape.

  • Exposed Beams (Bigues) are the rhythmic, structural "ribs" of the finca, traditionally crafted from sturdy local pine or olive wood to provide height and rustic warmth while serving as a timeless architectural anchor that connects the home’s interior life to the forest landscapes of the Serra de Tramuntana.

  • The Persiana Mallorquina is the iconic slatted shutter that acts as the "breathing filter" for the house, masterfully balancing privacy and light while inviting the Mediterranean breeze to dance through the interior during the long, golden afternoons of the island.

  • Binissalem Stone Floors are the cool, durable "foundation of elegance" for the finca, quarried from the heart of the island to provide a sleek, matte grey surface that grounds the interior light and offers a tactile connection to the artisan stonemasonry that has defined Mallorcan noble houses for centuries.

  • The Gathering is the social cornerstone of the finca, centered around a massive, hand-hewn table where the art of sobremesa transforms a simple meal into a timeless ritual of connection, conversation, and shared Mallorcan hospitality.

  • The Tableware—a curated collection of hand-blown Gordiola glass and Marratxí ceramics—serves as the tactile soul of the meal, bridging the gap between the earth’s raw materials and the elegant, communal rituals that define a Mallorcan feast.

  • The Textiles & Weaving are the soft, artistic soul of the finca, featuring the iconic "Roba de Llengües" (Cloth of Tongues) and hand-braided palm, which infuse the home with vibrant geometric heritage and the tactile warmth of Mallorcan craft.

  • The Gallery is the home’s living tribute to Mallorcan heritage, a curated showcase of local artistry where every sculpture and handcrafted object tells the story of the island’s people and ensures that the finca remains a vibrant bridge between ancestral tradition and modern grace.
